lessons learned

Exploring the world of computers is fun,

but sometimes it's the cause of my insanity :

For the past 3 quarters, exploring the world of computers is fun.fun.fun
Every night I usually use my laptop to do the requirements in this subject which makes my mom a little drastic . :))

During the 1st quarter, I learned about Hypertext Mark-up Language, which I can say was the easiest topic tackled during the school year. HTML adds colour to the world of internet especially on websites. The only thing that was difficult during this quarter it was when we need to memorize the history, dates, and especially the codes that burst my head.

During the 2nd quarter, the lessons learned was not as easy as the first. Ma'am Pasigna taught us about Flowchart in preparation for the 3rd quarter lessons which is programming. Flowchart was not a easy topic after all, it is a schematic representation of an algorithm or a process. It is commonly used to help the audience visualize the content better, or to find flaws in the process. But making a flowchart came out to be easy when I took the 2nd quarter exam.

Programming was tackled during the 3rd quarter. The program that we used was Dev C++ where almost everybody find it difficult to make the program of the flowchart we made during the fourth quarter.

This quarter I learned about Blog and also how to make a handicraft. Making a handicraft takes a lot of patience in order for you to finish it and make it beautiful. Blogging was fun, I don't think that blogging is a lesson after all becuase for me, it serves as my online journal :))

orchids

In making these artificial orchids, i felt difficult in rolling the crepe paper on the wire
especially the wire for the leaves [ang haba! db?!]

Again, in making these artificial orchids i learned to be patient because if i won't
i'm pretty sure the output will not look like an orchid :))

its big [definitely!], the output was nice && neat :))

much loved movie

My much loved movie was "ICE PRINCESS". I chose this movie because it showed me how a brainy bookworm and physics geek used her hobby, ice skating, would make a perfect project for getting her scholarship.

The part of the movie that struck me most was the part when Casey Carlyle (Michelle Tranchtenberg) pursued her dreams of being an ice skater. Even though she has a difficult time juggling schoolwork, skating, and a job at a food stand to pay for her skating lessons. Her mother realize that her constant practice somehow affected her academic standing and told her to stop skating.

In the movie the character that I can relate most is Casey Carlyle because I also love skating like that movie star.

I learned that you should have the determination in order for you to succeed in life, you could reach your dreams if your have this kind of attitude. :))

In making these butterflies took me a lot of patience, it was difficult to make the body of these butterflies. Last night (march 3, 2008) i slept at around 1 am, because my butterflies where really plain :(( uh. I got irritated while putting on the fabric paints, because the fabric paints where kinda "wet" which made my table extremely messy : but the outputs for me were great :D it really took me a lot of hardwork :))

The significance of this butterflies

reminds me to be more patient in everything that i do,

because without patience we can't do what we wish to.

Last February 24, 2008 the Ateneo de Zamboanga University highschool celebrated the family day. During this day, the members of each family went to school to gather in this event including mine :)) ehe. A lot of activities and games were prepared not only for us but also for teachers and parents.

It was raining when we were about to go to the main campus, but thank god it stopped, so at around 1:45-2:00 the vehicles of different year levels where already prepared for the motorcade, vehicles of the freshmen where identified with green balloons, the sophomores with red, the juniors with yellow and the seniors with blue balloons.

We arrived at around 3:00 - 3:00 pm with Jeanelle's van. Everything was in place when we reached the campus, the lobby was set for the mass and so with the right side of the building for the program. After the mass, the allotted time for the people to prepare for the program. The program started with the invocation which was led by my Mom who sang "the prayer". The prayer was also uttered by my Dad. :)) there were a lot of games but i didn't dared to participate. hahaha :)) there was also raffle draw where Jennika won a smart lod. And lastly, students presented an intermission number.

After eating, we went to play near the backfield "tagu-taguan". haha where Carllean planned to leave Xavier and Marvin. :)) an hour after the second registration there was a fireworks display, it was the finale of the program followed by the bands. All I can say is that I had fun hanging out with my parents and my classmates.

summerific countdown

as i reached at home today i immediately looked at my calendar and counted the days i have before summer. i just can't wait for another journey of my life this year in different parts/places of this world.

50 days to go, and it's officially SUMMER :DD

last summer, is not just an ordinary tour but an extravagant tour, it's not a joke spending a lot of money for a 2 months tour in europe.


@ 13, i had a visit to different places in europe. i just hope this year would be an extraordinary tour for me.


as i was about to put out of my mind it's february 5. >.<
it's a very special day, but this day was almost ruin by some people on the campus! >.<
they're so annoying.

the rest of the day was a bit fine, but for the fact that i got a low grade in literature. waaah. (baho ya gaha kel i think it's only 80 something) T.T when i look at the quetionnaire concerning the story map, we were suppose to make two story map but i failed to do one. T-T waaah, that's the price of too much carelessness but nevermind, as Father Chamber said "It could have been worse."
